TEACHERS' DAY WAS CELEBRATED WITH VARIOUS ACTIVITIES...
24 November Teachers' Day was celebrated with various activities organized in collaboration with TEDU Faculty of Education and EduAction Student Society. Our faculty members and students visited Anıtkabir; left a wreath on the mausolea of our headteacher Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and observed a minute’s silence.
Early Childhood Education STEM Approach Workshop was held by Faculty of Education, Early Childhood Education Program on 24-25 June 2019 with the participation of preschool teachers from schools in Ankara. During the workshop, in addition to the training provided by faculty member Dr. Seçil Yücelyiğit, the participant preschool teachers had the opportunity to plan and implement STEM activities for the preschool period.
Faculty of Education Head of Department of Mathematics and Science Education Dr. Zerrin TOKER held Designing Instructional Activities by Using Context workshop on Thursday, June 20 with the participation of primary school teachers from public schools. In the workshop, studies on context-based activities were conducted with teachers.

Our faculty will host the school counselors in Ankara with seminars called “VAM Model in GPC” and “School Climate & School Attachment” on April 26, 2019.

During the Fall semester of 2018 -2019 academic year, some of our Faculty of Education students from EDU 401 Community Service undergraduate course chose to contribute to the “TED Full Support Project” as their community service work. Within the framework of this project, our undergraduate students participated in the course and social support activities organized for young students on weekends.
