Career Opportunities

Students who graduate from the TED University Faculty of Education Early Childhood Education Program are entitled to receive the "Bachelor's Diploma in Preschool Education". Our graduates can be appointed as Preschool Teachers according to the Ministry of National Education requirements. The regulation published by the Ministry of National Education General Directorate of Basic Education on March 17, 2017, stated that preschool education will become compulsory by 2019. In this case, the Ministry claimed that there was a need for pre-school teachers to be employed. This need clarifies the future of the preschool teaching profession.

In addition to the Ministry of National Education, our graduates can work as teachers or administrators in private schools, kindergartens, nurseries, private educational institutions, and children's clubs owned by individuals or institutions. As the importance of preschool education is realized and mothers take a greater place in working life, the demand for institutions such as nurseries and kindergartens, where families trust their children and believe that they will contribute to their education, increases. Therefore, the need for qualified and well-trained personnel to work in these institutions is gaining importance daily. Based on all these, those who have the means have the option of starting their own business.

The fact that TED University provides 100% English education strengthens the possibility that our graduate students will be in high demand by these schools. The fact that the language of instruction is English also opens the door for our students to pursue their master's and doctoral studies abroad. Graduates of the Preschool Teaching Program can continue their master's and doctoral studies in preschool education at many universities in Turkey.
