Summer Internship

Early Childhood Education Program students can benefit from Erasmus+ summer internship mobility for at least 60 days. Students can intern in countries and preschool institutions with which the TEDU Elementary Education Department is currently affiliated or in the countries and preschool institutions the students choose. With this process, where students gain practical work experience in the field of vocational education, our students gain awareness about the textures and functioning of preschool institutions abroad, have the opportunity to learn by doing and experience, and gain the opportunity to expand their vision for their profession.

Summer Internship Experiences from the Perspectives of Our Students:

"My Erasmus+ internship experience, which I carried out for 2 months in Tampere, Finland, gave me a lot of things both professionally and personally. With the Erasmus+ internship, I gained practical knowledge about early childhood education in another country and expanded my perspective and knowledge about my field. It caused positive changes in my professional philosophy with the existence of different practices. At the same time, living in another country improved my problem-solving abilities, meeting new people, keeping up with innovations and changes, and having a multicultural approach. Being able to have critical and different perspectives about our profession and life, "I recommend everyone to experience the Erasmus+ internship experience."

Preparing and implementing activities for the 18 months-3 age group, assisting teachers in the daily routine, and dressing children. I did jobs that gave me professional experience, such as providing support while meeting their needs, such as eating and eating. I gained experience in classroom management, parent-teacher communication, event preparation, etc. The Erasmus internship contributed to me not only professionally, but also in life. I got to know different people and different cultures. "And I made friends from far away countries. I returned to my country with beautiful memories that I will always remember."

"In the summer of 2017, I worked as an intern at an English-medium pre-school institution in Munich for two months. I had the opportunity to communicate with children from different cultures in the five-six age groups and teachers from different countries. Thanks to this internship, I gained professional experience. "In addition to training, I also had the chance to travel to other countries. This internship went well, and I'm glad I had the courage to go!"
