Under the instruction of Asst. Prof. Dr. Funda Eda Tonga Çabuk and the assistance of Res. Asst. Hamide Nur Şimşekoğlu, students of PECE 230 – Social Skills Education in Early Childhood at TED University’s Department of Early Childhood Education completed their “Integrated Social Skill Activity & Digital Poster Presentations.”

As part of this assignment, each student designed a developmentally appropriate and integrated activity plan focusing on a specific social skill aimed to be fostered during early childhood. Students went beyond developing activity content by exploring how to present their ideas effectively, engagingly, and digitally, creating original learning designs that combine creativity and pedagogical awareness.

The digital posters served as holistic visual summaries that reflected the essence of the designed activities, including creative visuals, objectives, procedural flow, and assessment strategies. Throughout this process, students gained meaningful experience in design thinking and the pedagogical integration of digital tools.

At the end of the semester, with students’ consent, an online “Social Skills Activity Portfolio” featuring all designed learning processes and digital posters will be created. This digital portfolio aims to serve as a valuable resource of creative ideas for supporting social skill development in early childhood and inspiring future teachers.

We congratulate our students for their innovative contributions in digital creativity, learning design, and pedagogical innovation.
