Guest Speaker for PECE406 Course: Dr. Seçil Yücelyiğit

Dr. Seçil Yücelyiğit, who worked at the TED University Faculty of Education, Department of Preschool Education between 2018 and 2023, was invited as a guest lecturer to the PECE406 – Visual Arts Education and Material Development in Early Childhood course, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sühendan Er and assisted by Graduate Research Assistant Nur Şimşekoğlu.
Dr. Yücelyiğit presented a lecture titled "The Future of Art Begins with You: Exploring Digital Art with Young Children," addressing the development of digital art, technological tools used in art production processes, and their contribution to creative thinking. She focused on the integration of artificial intelligence, augmented reality, and digital platforms into art education in early childhood; examples were examined, and the importance of developing innovative and multi-dimensional approaches was emphasized, along with classroom application examples.
