PECE 201 Students Observe Waldorf Practice at Hasat Preschool

Under the guidance of Dr. Fatma Yalçın, students of the PECE 201—Alternative Approach and Models in Early Childhood Education course visited Hasat Preschool as part of their field observation.


During this visit, students had the opportunity to see how the Waldorf philosophy is implemented in real-life early childhood settings in Türkiye. They observed the physical environment of the school, the classroom materials, the daily routines that support the integration of body, mind, and spirit while respecting the children’s natural rhythms, and the teacher–child interactions, gaining valuable insights into how theory is implemented into practice.


This experience enriched students’ understanding of Waldorf pedagogy and helped them reflect on its application in diverse cultural and educational contexts.
