A Practical Yoga Session Held as Part of the PECE 360 Course

As part of the PECE 360 – Movement Development and Education in Early Childhood course conducted by Dr. Fatma Yalçın, a practical yoga session was organized in collaboration with Kolej Yoga.
During the session, pre-service teachers had the opportunity to experience basic yoga practices aimed at enhancing body awareness. The main goal of the activity was to highlight the importance of movement education in early childhood and to promote awareness of physical activity among pre-service teachers. The event also addressed the positive effects of children’s yoga on younger age groups and included discussions on the pedagogical foundations of these practices.
