TÜBİTAK 4004 "Think, Play, Act for Climate Change" Project

Our faculty members from the TED University Early Childhood Education Program had an active role in the TÜBİTAK 4004 "Think, Play, Act for Climate Change" project, which took place at Middle East Technical University from September 1-5, 2025, and was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Elif Buldu.
As part of the project:
• Assoc. Prof. Dr. Çağla Öneren Şendil delivered a training session titled "Evaluation in Climate Change Education" to preschool teachers.
• Dr. Lecturer Fatma Yalçın conducted practical sessions on "Nature-based Activities and Nature Exploration."
• Res. Asst. Tuba Özgül Torun and Res. Asst. Elif Naz Altaş Kuşhan actively participated as a facilitator in various sessions throughout the project, including drama activities on climate change and global warming, eco-school practices, energy flow in the ecosystem, and nature-based activities.
Thanks to these contributions, the project aimed to raise climate change awareness among preschool teachers, disseminate nature-based learning experiences, and strengthen sustainability awareness.
