We visited the Ankara University Toy Museum!

As part of the PECE406 course “Visual Arts Education and Material Development in Early Childhood,” conducted by Assoc. Prof. Sühendan Er, a visit was organized to the Ankara University Toy Museum with our senior pre-service teacher students enrolled in the course.
During the visit, Elif Bülbül, who holds a master’s degree in Museum Education, provided information about the toys exhibited in the museum, different types of toys, and their stories. In addition, key concepts related to Museum Education and Art Education in Museums were emphasized.
In line with the museum-based art education approach, an art workshop was organized for pre-service teachers based on the “Spoon Doll” concept, inspired by toy dolls.
