ECEP 257 Field Trip to Hacettepe University Occupational Therapy Department
On November 10, 2022, students from ECEP 257: Early Childhood Sensory Education course conducted by Assist. Prof. Dr. Seçil Yücelyiğit visited the Occupational Therapy Department at Hacettepe University. On 5th November 2022, Faculty members gave a seminar to the Kindergarten and Day Nursery Teachers of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate under these themes; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sühendan Er ‘Interactive Story Reading in Early Childhood’, Assist.
The book, which includes 3 chapters of Early Childhood Education instructors, has been published!
The book was contributed as writers by our Early Childhood Education faculty members and edited by Prof. Dr. Feyza Tantekin Erden and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dilek Altun was published. The book titled “Erken Çocukluk Döneminde Dijital Teknoloji: Uygulamalar, Araştırmalar ve Eğilimler”. Contributing to the book with the book chapter "Farklı Erken Çocukluk Eğitimi Programlarında Teknoloji", Assist. Prof. Dr. Çağla Öneren Şendil and Res. Assist.

On 12th October Assoc.Prof.Dr.Sühendan Er gave a seminar to the teachers of Ministry of Youth and Sports, Nursery and Day Care Center Preschool about Total Physical Response (TPR) which is used in teaching foreign languages to very young children.

“Tuesday Talks” Meetings with Our Senior Students
Our senior students participated in the "Tuesday Talks" program which was conducted by Melike Kandemir. In these meetings, which were held between 10.05.2022 and 31.05.2022, research and statistics were discussed, and our students revised the topics they learned and asked what they were curious about. We would like to thank our students for their participation in this program, which we believe will be beneficial to their academic experiences.

24 November Teachers' Day was celebrated with various activities organized in collaboration with TEDU Faculty of Education and EduAction Student Society. Our faculty members and students visited Anıtkabir; left a wreath on the mausolea of our headteacher Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and observed a minute’s silence.
